Crafting facial prosthetics requires a combination of fine art and medical skills. Greg Gion, an anaplastologist, comes from a fine arts background and has been designing facial prostheses since the 1980s. Most of the pieces he makes are for people who have lost facial features to either cancer or accidents.

It looks so realistic, I can't even imagine how much work it takes to adjust it to the patients needs, features and skin.
I make sculptures and paintings and takes me at least 2 weeks to finish a decent 'realistic' piece that's not even close to this amazing work of his. This man is such a blessing to the human race 👏👏
i will not stop saying,,,these are the type of person which earth deserves,,,not those who made weapons,,,to kill innocent person,,,with all the money they put on rockets to know what we have on Mars,,,when the big problem is on earth rigth infront of their nose
Doctors are very brave people They handle and solve that sort of horrific problems with people. They don't abandone these patients. I would abandone no lie. I would even like to be left alone. Have you seen that old ladie's prosthetic eye? it just looks unreal. How could any one survive like this? Life is strange and just evolved to survive.
I SO agree with you! That could have been me. I had surgery and radiation and chemo for oral cancer. I thought I went through a lot. It was nothing compared to these cases. My speech is impaired but I was left with no external disfigurement that needed a prosthetic. God bless all these patients. God bless all the medical teams and prosthesic artists who work tirelessly to enable patients to live normal lives.
