Here are some of the differences between Real and Fake UGG Boots. If you are ordering UGGs online, I would highly suggest ordering them from an authorized retailer such as:

I didn't realize people were so passionate re: how UGGS are made. I previously had no idea, so thank you to those individuals that pointed it out. That being said, this video is simply to show you some of the differences between the real and fake ones that I have noticed. Many of you have also pointed out that the chestnut pair have the wrong print on the bottom. Those were purchased in 2006 or 2007 and since then UGG has changed the print on the bottom. But yes, they are still authentic. Thanks for watching!
Just so you know, you mentioned Uggs coming out in 2006 or 2007. I bought my 1st pair in 1986 or 1987. They've been around for much longer than 2007. The original ones were taller and had embroidered stitching on back. They were originally made for surfers for when they got out of the water. Hence, made to wear with no socks. Just an FYI and they were originally made in Australia too.
Caught out in wet snow.
Bus service stopped running.
Walk half hour
in soaking wet UGGs.
To my amazement
my feet were warm
the whole time
I wear bare feet in UGGs
They were wet feet
and wet boots.
Now if it rains
I might get wet...
definitely no worry.

Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for creating the video! I have always purchased my Uggs from authorized retailers or directly from its site. Piracy is a big crime. Consumers rely on product comparisons like this one to stay informed.
The ugg website offers quad pay to make monthly payments. So if the cost is the issue try that. But the reals one are always better than paying too much for fake ones. Get the true Ugg experience....it is so worth it.
Ugg came out with new ugg boots that are waterproof the bottom looks different than the way they did before the waterproof ugg boots that are new are real ugg boots they're just different from before I just ordered some from Victoria's Secret ugg change their design at the bottom
Can someone explain how the “fake Uggs” have the real ugg bottom but the “real Uggs” don’t... btw just a quick tip if u want UGG boots that u can wear in the snow and rain, get the Sparkle Uggs they have sequin covering it and the water won’t mess it up🤪
Both of them are fake!
“Ugg Australia are not the original manufacturers of ugg boots(in the generic sense of the word)There is a brand in Australia which has ugg made in Australia on the heel label, and these are genuine sheepskins uggs(in the generic sense)but they are different company.

Ugg Australia started in 1978 as a US distributor for Country Leather Uggs. Then, in 1985, they started making their own boots in California. Brian Smith originally owned the company and sold the company to the owner of Teva in 1994. That parent company became Deckers Outdoors/Deckers Brands. Ugg was originally a unisex boot with both men's and women's sizing appearing on the outsoles of every pair.
I haven't had any problems with my feet getting wet. I'm also from Toronto and moved a bit north to Barrie where we have more snow and shitty weather, I bought them last year wore them all winter and my feet remaind dry. I bought them online from The Bay, because I couldn't find my size in any store only online. Only problem is idk how to clean them, clean the salt stains off my boots😒. Any suggestions???
I got a fake pare of uggs but they were not uggs cause they were a different brand cause no ugg stumble on the back and it was cheap also conferable and I got real uggs last winter for like $300 it’s expensive but very good quality
anyone who owns uggs is partly a murderer. people skin sheep alive to make uggs and literally rip there skin off. blood. lots of blood. they are thrown onto a truck and then skinned in australia, when their legs are tied together.
your a monster if you own uggs, and stop.
So is the cow leather on most sneakers. Leather, suede its all skin. We kill animals for meat. And trow loads of it away because people wont eat those parts of the animal. Honestly if it has to give it's life to feed us cloth us I say use it to the last bit. But you know what part of it is nature. Humans are the dominant species on this planet. There animals that hunt for fun. We kill to use them, am I partly a murderer for wearing Uggs? Nope not really it doesn't matter if I pick them up at the shop or not the sheep already died. I respect the life it gave to give me warm feet. And wear my Uggs out being grateful till they give out on me.Thats my way of thanking the sheep that died for me. But unless we make wearing animal skin and leathers, suede's against the law. They will keep killing them. It's more shameful to me to let there sacrifice go to waist. But to each there own opinion, just calling people murderers isn't very kind and you can out your displeasure in a politer way, spark a discussion not a persecution. Educate them on your opinion but let them have theres. Makes the world a much better place like that. I respect your opinion though even though I disagree.
Makenzie Klugman yeah hate me when they are terrorist that should be hated instead. What is wrong with you I’m a good person I didn’t know that they will kill sheep for wool. I stopped buying bc of that reason.
Ummm. My first ever pair of Ugg’s were black and dyed my toes black.. that’s not an indication of fake because mine were 100% real $200 later from the UGG Australia site.. lol 🤷🏽♀️ by the way y’all, buy ll bean wicked good boots, same material inside and out (compare if you want) and they’re half the price
Buy them from the UGG store and you know you're getting authentic. - I'm good with UGG because the sheep are good for meat and then the rest is used. They don't just slaughter them for boots. Judge yourselves!
Actually Norstrom and all the other companies you mentioned only sell Ugg Australia brand of ugg boots which are NOT genuine Australian sheepskin boots but faux sheepskin made in china and Italy. They claim that an Aussie surfer invented Ugg boots however uggs have been made in Australia since before 1917. Deckers tried to sue Australian manufacturers of genuine sheepskin boots for using the generic term uggs and lost in Australia. IF you want REAL ugg boots then you need to go online to an Australian or New Zealand company and buy them direct.
Hold up. The bottom of the fake uggs has the real logo and the "real" uggs has a fake logo. I bought some Mini Bailey Bow uggs from their store and it has the same logo as the fake uggs. So the "real" uggs are fake
The chestnut classic short are twinface sheepskin and the black classic short (the fake pair) are a thin cowhide suede or heavy microsuede, depending on the counterfeiters. The classics were not designed for poor weather conditions. That's why Ugg designed the Butte, Adirondack and other similar styles.👍
My first Uggs I got back in 1968 about $17 then. Good leather craftsman can can make good boots, just not use name Ugg when selling them. Some fake are brilliant, same fake are crap cheap split hide and a lining not wool on hide.
I waterproofed my first pair and they have never allowed my feet to get wet. I live in Ohio and we have some wet snowy winters. I just bought my second pair from the Uggs store up at the new Tanger Outlet mall just North of Columbus. One thing that was depressing is the fact that Uggs used to be made in Australia, now they are made in China and Vietnam. I know that manufacturing was moved to save money, yet the prices haven't come down. I am not worried about the price, but more about if the quality remains true to my first pair.
"They're a fake fur.... almost"?
I'm just messin' with you. Don't feel discouraged by people who come and leave comments like mine. Like me, they probably don't have a life and are pretty miserable. But thanks for the helpful video! :o)
"Ugg boots (sometimes called uggs) is a term for a unisex style of sheepskin boot in Australia and New Zealand. The boots are typically made of twin-faced sheepskin with fleece on the inside, a tanned outer surface and a synthetic sole."
First of all, even real UGGs can rip (mine, Classic Short, among the last Aussie-made ones and bought in person at Macy’s are real). After five years, they finally developed a small L-shaped tear near the top, though not on the seam. Dunno whether a sharp fingernail, jewelry or even my cats did it. Will just use clear leather repair cement. Second, black UGGs (or any UGGs with a dark shearling lining) will stain your feet for awhile if you tend to perspire. Why? Because the pale ivory is the natural color of shearling. Every other color of shearling lining—no matter the manufacturer, no matter the country of origin, is DYED. (Just like new dark jeans will stain your skin if you don’t wash them first). UGG explicitly mentions the possibility of dye transfer to skin on new dark-colored lined boots. So while there are myriad other ways to identify counterfeits, rips and bleeding dyes are not among them.
You should have shown the "foot bed" are there differences in the foot bed......I know when I tried to replace my foot beds I had an impossible time finding them! So ya show the foot bed plz! But thhank you I had no idea there are even fake uggs!
