THANK YOU! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS. I'M 5'2 I THINK AND I'M TURNING 17 IN NOVEMBER. I WAS MUCH TALLER WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, IRONICALLY BUT DURING THE PIVOTAL "GROWTH SPURT" PERIOD I WASN'T EATING CORRECTLY AND ON TIME AND SKIPPED TOO MANY MEALS SO THE DOCTORS TOLD ME THAT MY BODY PROPORTIONS (ESPECIALLY MY FACE) SHRUNK AND BASICALLY I'M AVERAGE HEIGHT - OR I WAS - BUT MY BODY SIZE IS PETITE SO I LOOK SO SMALL AND NOT 5'4. AND I GUESS THERE'S POSITIVE ASPECTS TO IT BECAUSE I HAVE A BABY FACE SO I LOOK YOUNGER BUT WHENEVER I GO TO PHARMACIES OR SWIMMING POOLS THEY ARE REALLY SUSPICIOUS OF MY AGE AND DON'T TRUST ME XD SO THANK YOU FOR THIS ESPECIALLY THE IDEA ABOUT FLATS BECAUSE I LOOK 12 WHEN I'M WEARING THEM HAHA.
What about adding belts? Skinny or wide belts? Same color as a monotone outfit or different color? Belts for decoration or out of need because your body changed shape a little? What about that ripple effect some belts give...alter the pants or leave it?
Good tips. I've had most of my tops' sleeves tailored at 3/4 length that is more flattering for me. And when I find pants/jeans that fit right, I buy two pairs, one hemmed for flats and the other for heels. I don't usually rolled up my jeans unless the underside material is of similar color as the outside because the light colored cuff visually cuts me off at the lower leg which would make me look shorter. It costs more to tailor clothes, but worth it in the long run.
I think our lower body proportion is very similar, but your body looks so much better than mine 😭 idk if I've been influenced or something, but I always see myself quite flabby and I *hate* my thighs and butt because it's bigger than my upper body (I have quite a flat chest). I always have a hard time trying to make myself look good in clothes, so these tips are really helpful. Thank you for being my saviour 💓💓💓
These tips were so helpful, thank you! But I have a problem: my boobs are big. I have a short torso and longer and skinny legs :'c so when i tuck my shirt in, my boobs look bigger and I look bigger. Someone help pls
When you're short, with no thigh gap but small butts and huge calves. And small, long torso. Oh God. Fitting is sooo much fun for me. It's sad to like a style and not be able to carry it off. But hey, gotta make the best of what you've got. Thanks for this video. I know heels make me look good but its so impracticle. Flats were always a scary option. All the cute cheap shoes are flats though. So this tutorial really helped. Lol. I don't know if you have a problem with calves.. but pleass make a video for girls with huge calves. Its hard to dress nice and feminine.
Have no idea why this appeared in my recommended videos. I am 5'10" ( 1m77) tall and reached my full height at 16 years old--and yes: I am (and was born) female. Embrace your unique qualities no matter what they are as *confidence* is so underrated when topics re: what makes people truly attractive are discussed! As Oscar Wilde said: "Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." ♥
I think that if ur petite 5'2 and under wearing heels actually shows how short you are... bc with heels you are still short so it shows how much shorter you can be without the heels. I know it sounds weird but I feel like when ur short and heels don't make a difference then flats are better.. and I love ur tips!
